Pulse of Europe / my essay No.11 for japanese Newspaper

On last Sunday I joined the meeting "Pulse of Europe".

(↓ from the Website of Pulse of Europe)
There has been an alarming increase of radicalization in political life. After the vote for Brexit and the election of Trump, however, we must not remain in shock. There are going to be held presidential elections in the Netherlands on 15 March 2017, in France on 23 April 2017, and in the autumn of 2017 the Bundestag election will take place.
Our aim and contribution
We are convinced that the majority of people believe in the fundamental idea of the European Union and its reformability and development and does not want to sacrifice it to nationalist tendencies.  Nothing less than the protection of an alliance, which secures peace and guarantees individual freedom, justice and legal security are at stake.
Unfortunately, mostly negative and destructive voices are heard in public!
Therefore: Let us become louder and more visible!  We all must now send out positive energy against current tendencies. The European pulse must be felt everywhere!
Everyone is responsible for the failure or the success of our future, no one can make excuses. To hope, everything will go well, is not enough and even dangerous.
Now, before the elections, is the right time to do one´s best – with as many people as possible, and in as many places as possible.
We have a big goal: to gather as many people as possible in Europe, who stand for Europe, and are able to support pro- European forces after the elections. Thus we can form a human chain all across Europe connecting Germany, France and the Netherlands.

Here is my contribution for a japanese newspaper ↓

Clair de lune by Debusy / Rest in peace for s.

He passed away.

He loved my Chopin. That's why I can't play Chopin now, it's too sad he doesn't stand by us more.

I play Clair de Lune because it was a dream of mine that the brothers will come to my concert when I'll perform Debussy again.

Rest in peace for s.

concert: Le Voci Fuori

Le Voci Fuori

ein Konzert des ensemble cross.art
im Rahmen von K-R-A-M LE HAPPY COMPOUND PLEASURES
Freitag, 18. Dezember 2015, 20 Uhr
Theaterhaus P1 – Stuttgart

Eintrittspreise: 15€ / 10€ / 5€

Programm:
Francesco Filidei (*1973)
Programming Pinocchio for amplified piano and electronics (2002)

Marta Gentilucci (*1973)
Über for clarinet, cello & piano (UA)

Clara Iannotta (*1983)
The people here go mad. They blame the wind for bass clarinet, cello, piano and 12 music-boxes (2013/14)

Marta Gentilucci (*1973)
Über for clarinet, cello and piano (UA)
with Video by Yukihiro Taguchi

Francesco Filidei (*1973)
Esercizio di Pazzia I for balloons players (2012)

ensemble cross.art:
Céline Papion, Cello & Luftballons
Junko Yamamoto, Klavier & Luftballons
Oliver S. Frick, Elektronik & Luftballons
Felix Behringer, Klarinetten
Anja Füsti, Luftballons

Le Voci Fuori

A concert from ensemble cross.art
As part of K-R-A-M Concert LE HAPPY COMPOUND PLEASURES
Fri. 18 Dec. 2015. 8pm
Theaterhaus P1 – Stuttgart

For two days the concerts series ‘Le Happy Compound Pleasures’ will resonate throughout the Theaterhaus Stuttgart. There, experimentally minded composers will meet established ensembles of the contemporary music scene in Stuttgart. On Friday, ensemble cross.art opens the series and will present “Le Voci Fuori”, featuring new Italian chamber music:

How influential can a cultural homeland be? Which resonances do they leave in an artistic work, perhaps often only subconsciously? -especially today, with contemporary artists traveling more and more around the globe, to study, work, live and thereby absorbing, and making their own, numerous influences from abroad.

ensemble cross.art would like to investigate this duality of influences in the contemporary Italian music scene, simultaneously bringing the German audience closer to the music and making them aware of these current questions. The focus will be on successful, young Italian composers who have lived, studied or worked in Germany and/or France -or still do. They are “Le Voci Fuori”, the voices from outside.

Works by Francesco Filidei, Clara Iannotta und Marta Gentilucci.

Hello my favorite field of Soba flowers :-)

Have you ever seen soba flower before? Soba is a type of thin Japanese noodle made from buckwheat flour.

There are wonderful soba flower fields  near the house of my parents.
I was very happy to watch such a beautiful landscape everyday, when I've stayed at my parents home in this September.
It was my pappiness to watch the landscape with Soba flowers.

If I could stay for a month longer in Japan , I could eat "Shin-Soba" (new Soba Nudle) , which smells wonderful
Soba flowers start blooming in September and produce seeds in October-November.

Wish you all who is now in Japan to enjoy to semll and eat Shin-Soba  ;-)

my favorite brazilian contemporary music / Os Abacaxis não voam (2001) / Guilherme Nascimento

"The Pineapples do not fly" is the title of a piano piece by Guilherme Nascimento.

This music is one of my most favorite Brazilian contemporary piano music.

It's very meditative, soft, calm and imaginatively.

What for me special is the concept of this music has relationship with Zen-Philosophy.

When I perform this piece, I have timeless feeling.

You can find silence peace in your mind by this music, you will have wish for benefit of others. That's a very beautiful thing :-)
